PricePivot

A grocery price tracker that turns the prices you log into a verdict — is this actually a good price, and where is it cheapest? — built on a shared price graph.

The problem

Grocery prices are noise. A number on a shelf tells you nothing about whether it's a good deal, or whether the store down the road is cheaper. Loyalty apps optimize for the store — not for you.

The approach

PricePivot turns the prices you log into signal. Each product gets a verdict — stock up now or wait — measured against its own history, plus a side-by-side of every store you've seen it at, normalized to a real per-unit price.

Under the hood, individual logs roll up into a shared price graph, so the read gets sharper as more prices come in — the piece of the app that's as much backend as interface.

What we built

A native iPhone app in Swift with a Supabase backend: per-product stock-up verdicts, cross-store comparison, spending insights, barcode scanning, and price-movement tracking — with a Pro tier for predictions, alerts, and unlimited history.
